Overview

Friends of Wildwood Lake Nature Center is a non-profit organization supporting the Wildwood Lake and Benjamin Olewine III Nature Center in Harrisburg, PA. They wanted to redesign their out-of-date website to better promote this beautiful resource to the public and increase their support base. The new site features a host of useful features to both the staff and the public.

For the staff, a simple content mangement system makes updating the trail closing information a snap. This allows the staff to quickly respond to trail conditions by instantly updating the website. For generating additional support, the site accepts donations and also features an online membership application which can be completed entirely online or printed and mailed with a check.

For the public, directions to the lake are provided as well as MapQuest integration for precise door-to-door directions. Real-time weather information for the area is provided by the Weather Channel.
