Job Description
Are you wise to the ways of Google and its ever-changing algorithm updates? Do you love ecommerce? Do you have at least 2 years of real-world organic search engine optimization experience? If so, we want to hear from you!
In this position you will craft SEO strategies and get buy-in from clients. You'll work alongside our team and guide our content writers to help execute your strategies. This is a hands-on position so expect to get your hands dirty with copy, markup, link building, crawl errors, and the like. You will also give input for ways to improve the SEO capabilities of our ecommerce shopping cart platform, BV Commerce.
What you'll NEED
- Proven SEO results—please provide examples
- Proficiency with SEO tools—please detail your favorite ones and how you use them
- Excellent command of the written word—able to create & edit optimized site copy that is intelligible to humans (not just bots) as well as clearly communicate with our clients and writers (which are also human).
- Paid Search experience a bonus but not required
- Actively engaged in social media
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, English, or related field
What you'll DO
- Create comprehensive SEO strategies for our clients
- Establish measurable ranking and traffic goals...and crush them
- Perform on-site and off-site optimization of client websites
- Work closely with clients and our writers for content development projects
