Job Description
Are you an SEO star on the rise, diamond in the rough, (insert your favorite metaphor here)? Do you love ecommerce? Do you have at least 1 year of real-world organic search engine optimization experience? If so, we want to hear from you!
In this position you will work alongside our team to help plan and execute SEO strategies for our ecommerce clients. That means optimizing copy, markup, link building, fixing crawl errors, and the like. You will also give input for ways to improve the SEO capabilities of our ecommerce shopping cart platform, BV Commerce.
What you'll NEED
- Real-world SEO experience—please provide examples
- Experience with some SEO tools—please detail your favorite ones and how you use them
- Excellent command of the written word—able to create & edit optimized site copy that is intelligible to humans (not just bots) as well as clearly communicate with our clients and writers (which are also human).
- Paid Search experience a bonus but not required
- Actively engaged in social media
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, English, or related field
What you'll DO
- Assist our team with the creation of SEO strategies for our clients
- Perform on-site and off-site optimization of client websites
- Work closely with clients and our writers for content development projects
